Confirm inspection scope before production
The buyer and supplier should agree the product specification, approved sample, sampling approach and acceptance criteria early. Waiting until inspection day to define quality expectations creates avoidable disputes.
Verify identity and quantity
Check purchase-order references, models, colors, trap configurations, electrical versions and packed quantities. Mixed orders need clear carton marks and packing lists so products and accessories remain traceable.

Review workmanship and function
Inspect ceramic appearance, critical dimensions, seat fit, fittings and included accessories. Complete the agreed flushing, leakage or smart-function checks using the intended configuration. Record test conditions and any deviations found.
Inspect finished packaging
Review carton condition, printed information, labels, manuals, accessory placement and protective materials. Confirm that product and carton model references match. Randomly open completed cartons rather than reviewing only a prepared display sample.
Close findings before shipment release
Classify issues, identify affected quantities and agree corrective action. Reworked goods should be rechecked. The final report should include photographs, results, open points and a clear release decision connected to the actual shipment.
